The US corporation Mattel has officially issued an extraordinary apology for its recall situation in China with its toys. Thats right folks, Mattel is groveling at the feet of China saying that the big problem in with lead paint in the Mattel toys was a design flaw rather then the fault of the Chinese. 255,000 toys were recalled after finding out that a lead based paint created a hazard for young children in the toys. Some people say that Mattel took the blame because of the Chinese creating 80% of their toy, and if the Chinese were to get upset it could just stop making all those toys and destroy Mattel. Either way, Mattelhas made an official statement saying that it was a "design-flaw". If you ask me, how do accidentally design lead paint into toys. You gotta wonder?
