In the heat of summer people usually drive around alot more be it for vacations, or time off or summer camp. Regardless the reason one thing is Americans do drive more often in the summer. Another undeniable fact is that the gasoline we pump at the gas station is heated up due to the suns hot rays in the summer. Hotter gasoline makes the gas expand and therefore that means you get less of it when you are pumping into your car. When gasoline is delivered to gas stations it is required by law that they deliver the fuel at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. However, there is no such law protecting the people at the pump with temperature readings and adjustments which equates to people getting screwed once again at the gas pumps. This is something that doesn't surprise me one bit...it is just another method of screwing over the American people. It seems that only after someone is smart enough to point out that something has been messed up all along, is when anything in this damn country gets done. This almost warrants a direct law suit to gas stations to pay back Americans for the years of dishonest selling practices at the pump. Something needs to be done here, but I am sure nothing will ever come of it. Thats the country we live in...oh well.

Sales Of Digital Music Players Fall
Forbes.com
2 Major US Electronic Retailers have reported a slow down in the sales of digital music players. But this is only after a huge surge in growth in the past recent months. It is estimated that 1 in every 4
households has a digital music player and now some experts believe that the music players have reached a saturation point. Also another theory is that their is an ever increasing demand for music players on cell phones. So various cell phones now do come with music players on them. The new iphone is a classic example of the switch that is being made to truly one device that does all. Apple is set to launch a new line of ipods later this year which is expected to lift sales slightly ... but most likely not enough. Other competition is also a factor, for example Microsoft's Zune player. I myself wanted to save for a video ipod, but will most likely wait to buy an iphone instead.

Apple IPhone is a hit before its out
19 million people surveyed expressed a strong interest in buying the apple iphone set to release on June 29th. Currently the only cell phone service provider that will have the iphone is AT&T. Many people actually would be willing to make the switch over to a new network with a 2 year contract. I personally would probably wait until my contract is up and then perhaps wait until the price drops a bit. The phones are going to $499 for the 4GB and $599 for the 8GB respectively. It would be much wiser to go with the 8GB because you get more for your money. If you've seen the commercials on television for one of these things you would want one too. I suppose we will have to wait and see the true sales figures for when this bad boy actually comes out. Until then you may drool over this commercial...
